[Mimi and Misty, during the late fall of 2009]

I found this picture that I took with my minolta x700 long time ago. I was very excited about playing with the real film camera (besides some cheap plastic toy cameras) and I started to taking pictures very carefully since you cannot see the outcome right away like how digital cameras spoiled us these few years. Anyways, this is picture of my lovely poopies, Mimi and Misty. I remember the time when Misty and Jackie became our family and it was very unexpected. We only had Mimi and our family wasn’t planning to get more dogs because it was very tough time back then. Those two schnauzers came to our house on May 5th of 2009 and I remember the date correctly because May 5th is Children’s day in Korea. (Yes, very random but that’s how I remember things, don’t judge meh.)

So today is the day that Misty passed away, and this is my 2nd saying-farewell-to-the-be-loved-one. First time was very tough, this time it is quite alright. Perhaps it is because I was somewhat expecting it to be happen very soon (unlike the first time xD). She was almost 14 years old and it is approximately 98-ish in human age. I know I’m talking too much about Mimi for this but Mimi was about that age when she was dead. Somehow today reminds me of Mimi. Feel like I’ve said good-bye to Mimi once again.

With all these gibberish, now I don’t know how to end this nicely. I just wish Misty was happy being with me and my family, and hope she enjoyed the leftover Korean food during the few years of being part of our family :P Also, hope she could meet Mimi and tell Mimi how everyone else is doing.

I love you. Will miss you.

When you have more than one pet, at first it’s like you’re the little kid at the candy shop, you just love it. But then the reality hits you hard. Bathe, feed, play, walk, talk, hug, kiss, scold, praise, and sometimes you happen to be ignoring them because you are far too busy to be the grown-up. You need to bathe yourself, shove some food to get yourself moving, then off to work, running some errands, coming home and family matters, chores, and those smelly pooping things await you.

So after the long day, which one would you choose?
My answer is in the picture. And I’m sure your answer is pretty much similar to mine (unless you have no soul).
